“Bilal’s Code” is a novel by the writer Ahmed Khairy Al-Omari. Its events begin with the child “Bilal” who was born and raised in America under the care of his mother “Latisha”, a single mother, as her child’s father, called “Saeed”, abandoned her a few months after Bilal was born. Bilal had black skin that he inherited from his mother, whose roots go back to Africa. As a result, Bilal suffered from bullying and racism in the classroom, and then suffered from the pains of a fatal disease where his chance of survival from this epidemic was zero percent.
Bilal watches an advertisement for a film about the character “Bilal bin Rabah”, which arouses his curiosity and he begins searching for his story, and his life changes from that moment on.
