Description

The first edition of the book Stories of the Prophets by Imam Abu al-Fida Ismail Ibn Kathir was published in 1968 AD. It was the idea and investigation of Dr. Mustafa Abdel Wahid; as he saw that the section of stories of the prophets mentioned in “Al-Bidayah wa al-Nihayah” by Ibn Kathir should be separated into a separate book of its own, but in the first and second editions there were some errors. This means that the stories of the prophets are only a part of the book Al-Bidayah wa al-Nihayah, as Dr. Abdel Wahid published a third edition twenty years after the publication of the second edition, in which he made a great effort in scientific investigation and correct graduation of hadiths, not just transmission only. The book consists of 748 pages, and its topics are divided according to the alphabetical order.
