Description
This book is based on a dialogue between a mother and her daughter about society, love, divorce, marriage, friendship, the hijab, religion, and the philosophy of social relationships. Some believe the cover suggests the book is superficial, but Ihsan Abdel Quddous has poured his thoughts into it. The daughter plays the role of the wise teacher, and her mother is the student learning from her. The book discusses social issues concerning women from the perspective of both mother and daughter, or more broadly, the older and younger generations.
