Description

Dr. Mustafa Hijazi, whose academic work focuses on developing productive and active Arab youth, presents this study to diagnose and understand their problems, address the obstacles hindering their development, and ultimately unleash their potential and channel it into building the future.

This study is the culmination of over a decade of university work in the Gulf, where he gained extensive experience in teaching, guidance, and training, and gained firsthand insight into the realities and issues facing Gulf youth.

The research material is not limited to this lived experience alone. It also draws upon rich documentary material, supplemented by a wealth of resources related to guiding youth in various aspects of their lives. This includes references, booklets, and studies by Gulf, Arab, and international experts, as well as information on youth programs and their implementation.

The study’s value lies in its shedding light on both active and unseen forces, highlighting the real factors that must be addressed in planning, strategy, and program implementation. It aims to help diagnose the underlying reality, going beyond its superficial appearances. This is the first step on the path to effective engagement, which ensures the success of the numerous efforts undertaken to nurture and prepare young people for the future.
