Description

What makes us read a book about a life whose events we already know?

Perhaps because each time we read about it, we feel closer to him, peace and blessings be upon him, and we always need more of that.

Perhaps because we know there is always more that we didn’t notice before.

And that each time, treasures emerge that were not yet discovered before… Perhaps because the biography has become a part of us, of our memory and identity. No matter how far we stray, no matter how short we fall, no matter what masks we wear or what identities we adopt, something deep within us still carries remnants of an identity intertwined with his life, peace and blessings be upon him. We always return to it as if to check on the pure child within us, as if to ensure that he is safe. His safety means that we are still, in some way, at least minimally, alright.

Or perhaps because they try to distort it in every way, we return to his biography, peace and blessings be upon him, to reassure ourselves that no matter how hard they try, they will never succeed in harming it.
