In the context of correcting misconceptions, this book addresses the difference between what a Muslim is convinced of and what he implements. This difference is due to the personal concepts of each person, many of which are incorrectly formed through his surrounding environment. The result is behaviors resulting from sayings such as: (Hit whoever hits you – Hypocrisy is the standard for success – He who does not wrong people will be wronged – He who does not make mistakes in his youth will make mistakes in his old age) and many others. In order for us to be able to overcome these concepts and the obstacles they pose, we must believe in the concept of (abandonment before embellishment), meaning abandoning error in word and deed and then adhering to what is correct.
Therefore, I seek in the book They Deceived You and Said to point out every mistake we may make, then clarify its correctness from what the Lord of Glory said, and what the Messenger of Humanity, the Noble Prophet, said or did.
