Imam Abu Muhammad Abdul Malik Ibn Hisham al-Ansari (died 218 AH/833 CE) is a prominent Muslim scholar and Arab historian, famous for his compilation and editing of the biography of the Prophet, which bears his name, “The Biography of the Prophet by Ibn Hisham”. Ibn Hisham is considered one of the imams of language and history of his time, and his works are distinguished by accuracy and attention to documenting events.
