Abu Imamah Ziyad ibn Muawiyah ibn Dhubab ibn Jabir ibn Yarbu ibn Ghayth ibn Murrah Al-Dhubyani, known as Al-Nabigha Al-Dhubyani (18 BC/605 AD). An Arab poet from the first class. He has a poem that some consider to be one of the Mu’allaqat, and its beginning is:
O house of Mayya in the highlands, the Sindh is more abundant and the past has been long for it
Al-Nabigha was given this title because he excelled in poetry, i.e. he was creative in poetry all at once, and critics differed in explaining and interpreting it.
