Ali Al-Muqri is a Yemeni novelist. He was born in Hamra, Taiz, Yemen, on August 30, 1966. He began writing literature at the age of eighteen. He has worked as a cultural editor for several publications, and his novels have been translated into Italian, French, English, Kurdish, and other languages.
