Amr Abdel Hamid (born 1987) is an Egyptian writer and novelist. He studied medicine, specializing in ear, nose and throat surgery, at Mansoura University. He is best known as a writer of fiction for his first published works, the Zikola Land Trilogy, Amarita, and the Forgotten Valley of the Wolves. He also published the second part of the novel, The Beats of Shamo, and the third part, The Waves of Akma.
