Baron Crac de Vaux (1867–1953) was a French orientalist.
His works include:
“Avicenne” (Avicenne), 1900. Translated into Arabic by Adel Zuaiter.
“Al-Ghazali” (Gazali), 1902. Translated into Arabic by Adel Zuaiter. Al-Badawi commented on the translation, saying it was “extremely poor and misunderstood.”
“The Doctrine of Islam” (La doctrine de l’Islam), 1909.
“The Thinkers of Islam” (Les penseurs de l’Islam), in five parts, 1921–1926. Translated into Arabic by Adel Zuaiter.
