Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Qudamah ibn Miqdam, al-Adawi, al-Qurashi, al-Maqdisi, al-Jama’ili, then al-Dimashqi, al-Salihi, one of the imams and scholars of the Hanbali school of thought. He is the author of *Al-Mughni*, one of the largest books of Islamic jurisprudence and the Hanbali school of thought.
