Ibn Qurnas

Ibn Qurnas

Ibn Qurnas is not interested in fame or the limelight, but he is neither an unknown nor a dabbler in scholarship.

He comes from a very well-known and deeply religious family in Saudi Arabia, generation after generation. He immersed himself in reading from his primary school days. He also completed his university studies at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.

Since his university days—in the early 1970s—he has been researching the Quran and the era of the Prophet. This means he has spent over 45 continuous years studying the Quran, accompanied by extensive reading in various fields of knowledge and science in both Arabic and English. He is well-versed in the doctrines of the different schools of thought and sects within Islam, as well as the writings of many of their adherents, their opponents, and some of the most prominent Orientalists. In addition, he undertook a year and a half of intensive study of the Bible under an American pastor, along with a broad and extensive knowledge of the history and beliefs of the Israelites and Jews, the history and beliefs of Christianity, and the beliefs of other religions.

He has been fully dedicated to research and writing for 17 years.
