John Mead Falkner, or simply J. M. Falkner (May 8, 1858 – July 22, 1932), was an English novelist and poet. He gained fame in 1898 with his novel Moonfleet. He was also a highly successful businessman, becoming chairman of the arms manufacturer Armstrong Whitworth during the First World War.
