A linguistic expert at the Doha Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language, she holds a PhD in Arabic Language and Literature with honors from the College of Islamic Propagation in Libya in 2022. She also earned a master’s degree from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, Department of Linguistics and Arabic Lexicography, in 2017. She also earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Qatar University in Arabic Language (Linguistics), specializing in media.
She has two published books: “Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in Light of the Communicative Approach” and “Aspects of Nonverbal Communication in Children: A Functional Linguistic Study.”
She has published peer-reviewed research papers in several international conferences, including “The Use of Word Origins in the Doha Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers,” “Language Planning and Policy in the State of Qatar: Arabization of University Education and the Mandatory Teaching of Arabic in Private Schools,” and “The Structuralist and Generative Schools: A Reading of Foundational Concepts.” She has participated in various international conferences, celebrations, and cultural activities, and has published in local and international newspapers and magazines. She has won numerous literary awards.
