Laila Abdullah Abdul Latif Al-Othman (October 17, 1943) is a Kuwaiti novelist and poet.
She was born and educated in Kuwait City. She began her literary career as a poet, then moved on to writing short stories and novels. She has worked in journalism since 1964. She is a member of the Kuwaiti Writers Association and the Kuwaiti Journalists Association. She has published a poetry collection entitled “Poetry and Thoughts” (1972), as well as numerous short story collections and novels.
