Mohammad Mohsen is a Lebanese journalist and author, known for documenting military and political events in the region. His most notable work is “The Illusion of Borders: The Battle of Qusayr,” published by Dar Al-Adab in Beirut in 2016. The book provides a field and analytical account of the events of the 2013 Battle of Qusayr in Syria, considered one of the first major battles involving the Lebanese Hezbollah movement inside Syrian territory.

Mohsen based his book on his direct observations during his media coverage of the events. He spent eight months in the region, enabling him to provide precise details about the course of the battle and the interactions of the various parties. He also relied on diverse sources to document the events, making the book an important reference for understanding this phase of the Syrian war.
