Muhammad bin Muhammad Hasan Shurab, known as Muhammad Hasan Shurab, (born in Khan Yunis in 1938, died in Damascus on October 31, 2013), a Palestinian historian and encyclopedic writer. He is familiar with the history of Palestine, its cities and men, and with the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially Medina, where he lived for a period of time. His house in the Daraya district near Damascus was a meeting place for lovers of language, literature and history.
