Muhammad Ali al-Sabuni (1349-1442 AH / 1930-2021 AD) is one of the most prominent scholars of the Sunnis and the community in the modern era, and one of the specialists in the science of interpreting the Qur’an. He is the author of the book “The Elite of Interpretations”.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award chose him as the Islamic Personality of the Year in 2007, for his efforts in serving the Islamic religion through his books and writings, especially the interpretation of the Quran.
