Muhammad Labib al-Batanuni (1357 AH = 1938 AD) was an Egyptian traveler and historian during the reign of Khedive Abbas Hilmi Pasha II. His most famous work is The Hijazi Journey. He was born in the village of al-Batanun, Menoufia Governorate.
