Raffaele Sabatini (April 29, 1875 – February 13, 1950) was a British writer of Italian-born romance and adventure novels.
He is best known for his international bestsellers: The Seahawk (1915), Scaramouche (1921), Captain Blood (also known as Captain Blood: His Saga) (1922), and Lucky Bellarion (1926). Many of his novels have been adapted into films, both silent and sound.
Sabatini produced 34 novels, eight collections of short stories, six books of non-fiction, numerous uncollected short stories, and several plays.
