Saad Juma (Tafilah, southern Jordan, 1916-1979) was a Jordanian Prime Minister of Kurdish origin. He was a thinker, writer, and author with many publications. He completed his secondary education at Al-Salt School, then studied law at Damascus University and graduated in 1947.
Saad Juma was one of the Jordanian symbols who had weight in the state and had worked in its institutions since he completed his studies. It was a difficult period and things were escalating and the king needed someone to stand with him in this critical period, so he chose Saad Juma. King Hussein bin Talal assigned him to head the ministry and form the government, succeeding Prime Minister Sharif Hussein bin Nasser in 1967. Saad Juma formed the government twice during this year.
