Salah Jahin (December 25, 1930 – April 21, 1986) was an Egyptian poet, cartoonist, actor and leftist thinker.

He produced many films that are considered immortal in the history of modern cinema, such as Princess of My Love and The Return of the Prodigal Son, and his wife played roles in some of the films he produced. He worked as an editor in a number of magazines and newspapers, and drew cartoons in Rose al-Youssef and Sabah al-Khair magazines, then moved to Al-Ahram newspaper.
