Description
The fear of a locked box or the uncertainty surrounding its contents are very old in the human psyche. You’ll find them in One Thousand and One Nights, Shakespeare, children’s stories, and everything in between.
It’s the unseen in its purest form. We’re lucky to know for certain that the box contains scraps of paper. We won’t find a corpse, as in One Thousand and One Nights, nor will we find a scorpion, a snake, a radioactive alloy, a poisonous gas, or an ancient curse. Let’s light a candle to dispel the darkness of the cellar and read one of these strange stories.
