Dostoevsky pours something of himself, his thoughts and his life, which is reflected in the characters of the novel, especially the character of the prince who lives the conflict between his love for “Aglaya”, who is his true love even though she always mocks him but loves him, and his love for “Anastasia” who is desired by everyone, whom he loves with a spirit of sympathy even though he describes her as sick and ill.
