It deals with the life of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and presents the history of the Arabs during the Islamic period through his biography and the events of his era.

The author wanted this book to be “an opinion among opinions, a voice among voices and a tune among the tunes we hear about the history of the Arabs and Islam”, and he was careful not to focus on “except for the aspects that had a significant and dangerous role in the history of the Arabs and Islam, as for the secondary matters and incidents that did not have a significant role in changing the course of life” he would not address them “except to the extent that they were related to the lives of people at that time”. He also did not want to be biased towards an opinion, nor to belittle an opinion or support an opinion, “because we are in an era in which these methods of research have become old and worn out, and do not benefit their owners at all if they do not harm them”, and the scourge of knowledge is passion and bias.

Because the history of Islam is a vast sea, it has not yet gone far beyond its shore.. The author considers himself a “student of knowledge”, and knowledge is nothing but study and experiments.

The author divides his research into four extended chapters. The first chapter takes the form of a research on the topic of the danger of the history of Islam and how to document it. “Muslims, even if they differ in color and language, are in the view of Islam one nation.” “They are united by the bond of Islam, which is an intellectual bond only.” It includes a historical presentation of the studies of the biography and a commentary on them, and on the influential factors to which the historian submits in his writings, including primarily being carried away by his emotions, and the influence of the “sultan of public opinion,” which forces him to take into account the feelings of his citizens, “otherwise he exposes himself to unpleasant words and harm, and for this reason he is forced to pass over sensitive issues lightly, or without criticism or expressing an opinion.” The second chapter talks about the city of Mecca, as we must understand the biography of the Prophet and the history of Islam by talking about Mecca, and by examining the conditions of its inhabitants and the state of the people there at that time. Talking about the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his birth and then his mission takes up the third section of the book, as the historian must, for this talk, cite verses from the Holy Quran, instead of relying on the stories on which “Orientalists built judgments and opinions that greatly harmed Islam.” “Muhammad, the Messenger of God” is the last chapter that discusses the biography of the Prophet, its circumstances and timing, the revelation of the verses, and the reasons for their revelation, and stresses “the importance of studying the subject of the order of revelation of verses and surahs in documenting the biography.”

A history of the most important events that occurred in the history of the Arabs in Islam, in a clear manner and with classified content, in the language of a skilled and humble historian, in this book about which its author said: “I did not write it to please anyone,” and “it represents my own effort, and every effort has its own opinion, and my intention in it is purely for knowledge, but the actions “With intentions”.
