Description

The events unfold in a London hospital: Jihad meets a woman and her sick husband, and then Jihad meets Lydia and her mother, who is battling cancer. The story concludes with Jihad’s return to his homeland, Syria. The truth about the illness remains hidden from the girl, only revealed to her family, until Rana’s death.
