Lemuel Gulliver is never satisfied with the simple life that a village doctor can live. He always longs for excitement and adventure, visiting new places, and seeing new people. Accordingly, Gulliver sets out on a sea voyage with the aim of exploration, but a strong storm sweeps him away until he reaches one of the shores of a strange country called Lilliput, a land inhabited by people no taller than 15 centimeters. Gulliver’s Travels is an adventure novel that includes sea voyages undertaken by Lemuel Gulliver, who encounters a series of unfortunate incidents that end with him on some unknown islands, inhabited by people and animals of varying sizes, behaviors, and philosophies.
