From the initial panic that Sally McBride feels when she takes on this great task until the end of the work, the reader follows, with inspiration and passion, the soft feminine power and its impact in reshaping the self and the world, as this novel deals with growth, change, initiative, and saving the world with a series of small steps moving in the right direction.
We will see with admiration the young orphanage director Sally McBride transform from a completely pampered girl with superficial interests, to a mature woman and a capable executive.
