He was twenty-six years old when the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer struck him in his heart: “O God, strengthen Islam through the two men most beloved to You, ‘Omar ibn al-Khattab or ‘Amr ibn Hisham.”
Thus began the story. A prayer that drew him from the collar of his disbelief to the light of Islam, rescued him from the swamp of vice to the pinnacle of virtue, and brought him from the House of Assembly to the House of Arqam!
Because people are like mines, their best in pre-Islamic times will be their best in Islam if they understand. The pre-Islamic ‘Umar was perfectly prepared to be Omar al-Faruq!
All that was missing was restructuring and reformulation, and nothing is more capable than Islam of restructuring and reformulating people!
Islam does not abolish natures, but rather refines them; it does not destroy qualities, but rather polishes them. In Islam, ‘Umar was refined and polished until he became one of those who come only once in history!

My journey from doubt to faith
د.ا2.13I refused to worship God because I was immersed in worshipping myself and admired the flash of light that began to flash in my mind with the opening of consciousness and the beginning of the awakening from the cradle of childhood.
This psychological state was behind the controversial scene that recurs every day. I also missed the origins of logic and I am dealing with logic and I did not realize that I am contradicting myself as I recognize the Creator and then say who created the Creator and make him a creature at the time when I call him a creator, which is sophistry itself.
Moreover, to say a first cause of existence requires that this cause must exist in itself and not dependent or need others to exist. If a cause needs a cause, this makes it one of the causal links and does not make it a first cause.د.ا3.55 -
