Description
The poet describes his collection as “a blend of philosophical mysticism, love, and freedom,” “mystical explorations in a world overflowing with materialism,” “a fusion of spirit and body in poetic expression, with a strong affinity for women and their enchanting world.”
My heart aches for you, my love. The Jordanian press described it as follows: “The collection is distinguished by its diverse range of themes and subjects. While the more delicate half is devoted to women, the other half is dedicated to Sufism and homeland. The language of the collection draws upon a poetic style woven from heritage, Sufi thought, and the veil of love.”
The collection comprises 25 poems, spread across 132 pages. The poems begin with “Two Halves” and end with “The Celebration of Death.” The poems in this collection were written between 1994 and 2004, as dated by the author.
