With the word “Be” the universe was created.. and with the correct word the truth of a person’s faith or lack thereof appears. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.” A good word is automatically linked to your faith and the strength of your belief that Allah sees and hears you, and a hurtful word shows your need to review your awareness of Allah’s closeness to you.
The Arabs used to say in the past: “Your tongue is like a lion; if you hold it back, it will protect you, and if you let it loose, it will devour you.” Reality has proven that “words” have a great impact on souls. History has recorded inspiring words that created nations and civilizations, and it has also mentioned other words that caused wars and cost lives.
So my goal in this book is to shed light every time on an “inspiring” or “negative” word that we contemplate and see its effect on our souls.. If it is positive, we strive to repeat it and learn from it, and if it is negative and destructive, we promise God not to mention it on our tongues or hearts.
Oh Lord, purify our hearts and tongues from everything that hurts, wounds or destroys, and fill our tongues and hearts with everything that builds, pleases and honors
Be the first to review “Word”
