Description
Last night, the river police pulled a young woman from the Seine. She was naked except for a few tattoos, suffering from amnesia, but still alive. From the Seine, she was taken to the police headquarters in Paris, and from there, she vanished without a trace.
So far, the story is ordinary. But when genetic analysis and photographs reveal her identity—and it turns out to be Milena Bergman—the matter becomes much more complicated. The famous pianist died a year ago in a plane crash.
Her ex-fiancé, Raphaël, and Roxanne, a policewoman recently placed on temporary leave, suddenly find themselves at the heart of the case: How can the young woman be dead for a year and yet alive today?
