After “Children of the Ghetto – My Name is Adam” (2016 – Arts), which followed the story of Adam Danoun, a Palestinian immigrant to New York who recounts his childhood in the city of Lod, which was occupied in 1948 and the majority of its inhabitants and native residents were expelled, this is the second part of the novel, “Children of the Ghetto 2: Starfish.” Khoury continues the story of the Palestinian ghetto surrounded by barbed wire, brutality, blood, and murder.
