This book is one of the most famous works of Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafei, as it includes in its pages a group of chapters, articles and stories, on various topics, divided in different circumstances and different times, all inspired by the inspiration of the author’s pen and the abundance of his mind, but they are not far from social and human life, so that the reader of these pages is confused about the nature of what he reads: is it true or inspired by imagination?

These articles were published in newspapers and magazines known at the time, such as “Al-Hilal”, “Al-Muqtataf”, “Al-Risala”, and other literary and cultural magazines that were most widely circulated at that time.
This book reveals Al-Rafei’s literary characteristics, which combine the solidity of classical formulation with the breadth of free imagination. Critics have considered him a pioneer of “free verse”, especially in his books that rely on a collection of poetic thoughts, such as “Moon Talk”, “Rose Leaves”, and “Red Clouds”, in which he recorded his philosophical thoughts and visions of love and passion, in addition to his poetic production included in his collections, magazine pages and newspapers.
