Description
This book documents the stages of the Battle of Qusayr, both in the city and the countryside. It was Hezbollah’s first battle inside Syrian territory, capturing the attention of various political and military circles, both regionally and internationally. It is considered one of the fundamental turning points in the Syrian war, both politically and on the ground. For the first time, this book publishes detailed information from numerous sources, including the author’s observations during his eight-month coverage of the events there, about the course of the battles in the countryside and the city. The book also includes stories from the battle told by fighters from both sides, as well as stories from the battle in which the people—Lebanese and Syrian—were divided among the fighters.
