As for the descendants of the poor, they will turn into animals that have no connection to humans (the Morlocks). They live underground and work and toil always as their fathers and grandfathers lived, but they are more than them in that they have adapted and evolved to this miserable situation. However, there is something that may restore some dignity to this inferior animal race, which is that it will exploit the weakness of the other race (the Ailu) and use them for food, as they will let them eat, drink and enjoy themselves until the turn comes for one of them, and the Morlocks will kidnap him and eat him.
