Palestinian novelist, poet, and critic Ibrahim Nasrallah presents the second edition of his book, *Images of Existence: Cinema Reflects*. This expanded and revised edition builds upon the first, published at the end of 2007 as part of the *Cinema Horizons* series. The second edition, titled *Images of Existence: Cinema Reflects*, offers readings of eight additional films within this theme. Through these readings, the author aims to highlight the crucial role of cinema in embracing literary questions, bolstered by technological advancements. These advancements have brilliantly brought these questions to life before our eyes, extracting them from words and imagination with a high level of artistic vision and an exceptional ability to connect the cinematic and literary projects in their exploration and contemplation of issues such as life and death, existence and nothingness, crime and punishment, love and hate, freedom and slavery, truth and fiction, justice and injustice. In all these dualities that have troubled humanity, cinema has emerged to reflect and demonstrate its own thinking, to question and reveal the scope of the question, and to answer and show us the bloodshed and futility of the answer, drawing upon literature. He states that we live in that region at the boundary between these dualities, where the two sides of these dualities seep into one another. To the other, to create another space\u2014the “human space”\u2014where people experience their souls, ascertain their grounding, and discover their flaws and areas of rebellion, their relationships with themselves and others.
