Their question about Israel’s future was, for the most part, an attempt to justify this reality, either to escape the reality of defeat and disunity, or to reassure their followers and boost their morale by assuring them that victory is inevitable, no matter how powerful they become. The most distinctive feature of this approach is its emotional and unrealistic tone, stemming from religious, nationalist, or ideological perspectives that are largely subjective and lacking awareness of the other side’s capabilities and factors for survival, both internal and external. Therefore, in most cases, this approach took the form of wishful thinking without offering a practical and scientific framework for answering the question.

As for the Israeli or Zionist side, it was acutely aware of the dangers threatening its existence and future within a hostile Arab and Islamic environment. Its constant questioning focused on how to protect and secure its future, whether through reliance on firm alliances with major powers that would guarantee its superiority in all fields and provide it with the deterrent force necessary to eliminate any threat.

Since discussing the future of Israel is tantamount to discussing our own future, it goes without saying that everything related to our political development and economic prosperity is linked, in one way or another, to the existence or absence of Israel and to the state of war or peace in the region. Hence, our attempt to envision the future of Israel is part of the process of planning our Arab political future. The option of a peaceful settlement, which we believe will achieve the desired goals, must be a conscious choice made and implemented by the Arabs as a future strategy to contain Israel in the region, ultimately leading to its assimilation into the Arab cultural sphere.

The preferred option for resolving the conflict is a one-state solution, which would be part of an Arab project to address the Jewish question. This would transform Israel into an integrated state, part of the Arab region—a state with its own customs, traditions, and demographics, following and interacting with the East. This would enable the Arabs to absorb the Zionist-Crusader onslaught and resolve the Jewish question fundamentally, allowing them to resume their global civilizational role after centuries of being lost and adrift in conflicts imposed upon them.

This section discusses the political transformations related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the prospects for a peaceful settlement, and its future implications for the region, while analyzing its regional and international dimensions.

[839,832,835
1072,1108,1084,1343
0":"post-26395","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-history-and-geography","7":"product_cat-politics","8":"product_cat-sociology","9":"product_tag-history","10":"product_tag-palestine","11":"product_tag-politics","12":"product_tag-thought","13":"pa_book-author-youssef-al-assi-al-tawil","15":"first","16":"onbackorder","17":"sale","18":"shipping-taxable","19":"purchasable","20":"product-type-simple
["GET
