What are the logical conditions and methodological requirements for creating our own creative discourse while preserving our discursive independence?<\/p>\n<p>The Moroccan philosopher Taha Abderrahmane answers this twofold question with a central argument that the book&#8217;s chapters strive to substantiate: that the foundation of understanding the &#8220;methodology of creativity&#8221;\u2014which liberates our thought\u2014lies in acquiring the ability to grasp the requirements of three types of methodologies. The first is the &#8220;integrative methodology,&#8221; characteristic of the Arab-Islamic heritage, which is based on the premise that evaluating this particular heritage is only valid through understanding its distinctive integrative approach. The second is the &#8220;pragmatic methodology,&#8221; employed in philosophical discourse, which is based on the premise that evaluating philosophical work is only possible through understanding the mechanisms of discourse specific to the philosopher&#8217;s language.
