The second part of these stories addresses important historical events in the course of the Palestinian cause, specifically the “Great Palestinian Revolt of 1936-1939,” a pivotal event in the history of the Palestinian struggle. These events demonstrated the Palestinian people’s continued resistance against the British Mandate and Zionist militias in Palestine. The first section of the stories highlighted the roles of several figures in the Palestinian national movement during that period, such as Hajj Amin al-Husseini and the Christian Arab nationalist fighter Emile al-Ghouri. It also recounted the heroic operation carried out by the fighters Bahjat Abu Gharbiya and Sami al-Ansari in assassinating the British police commander in Jerusalem, Seacrest. The second part of the stories focuses on the Great Palestinian Revolt (1936-1939). Without mentioning the role of Jordanian tribal leaders and freedom fighters in supporting the revolution with money, weapons, and men, the book recalls the heroic stances of Sheikh Hussein Pasha al-Tarawneh, Prince Rashid al-Khaza’i al-Farihat, Sheikh Mithqal al-Fayez, Sheikh Haditha al-Khuraysha, Sheikh Mubarak Abu Yamin, Brigadier General Ali Khalqi al-Sharairi, and other Jordanian patriots.
