In my book *A Life in Administration*, I wrote: “From time to time, there were tasks that took the minister away from the whirlwind of daily routine work. Foremost among these were accompanying the King and the Crown Prince on official visits, escorting heads of state visiting the Kingdom, and participating in various conferences.”
\nDuring my tenure at the Ministries of Industry, Electricity, and Health, I was assigned a great number of such tasks. This book contains chapters reflecting my personal impressions of various heads of state and government whom I had the opportunity to observe at close quarters during their visits to the Kingdom.
