Description
I arrived at Cairo International Airport at 11 p.m., on a holiday night, and went straight to my hotel. There was no one in the lobby, and there was only one receptionist on duty. I showed him my passport, he found my reservation, and then suddenly he looked at me and asked, “Did you come from the CIA?” I couldn’t think of anything to say.
