Abdelilah Benarafa (born October 6, 1962, Salé, Morocco) is a Moroccan researcher and novelist.
He was born in Salé in 1962.
He holds a doctorate in linguistics from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

He is an expert with ISESCO and a researcher in linguistics, Sufism, and Islamic thought.

Abdelilah Benarafa founded his mystical narrative project with a Quranic framework, which he sees as offering a different concept of literature. Its epistemological aims lie in producing knowledge-based literature that transforms the reader’s consciousness, knowledge, and behavior. His novel, Khunatha, won the Moroccan Young Readers’ Prize for Literature.
