Ahmed Mazen Ahmed Asaad Al-Shugairi (born June 6, 1973) is a Saudi journalist, writer, and television presenter. He is the host of the popular television series “Khawatir” (Thoughts) and the former host of the program “Yalla Shabab.” He presented television programs that focused on helping young people mature in their thinking, devote themselves to serving Islam, develop their skills, and discover their knowledge of the world and their role in making it a better place. Al-Shugairi became famous in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world after the “Khawatir” series, which achieved widespread success due to its simple style and its treatment of the issues of youth and the Islamic nation. It always began with his quote: “I am not a scholar, nor a mufti, nor a jurist, but a student of knowledge.”
