Ahmed Fal Ould Eddine (born 1974) is a professional journalist, writer, and novelist from Mauritania. He works as an editorial standards advisor for Al Jazeera Network and has worked as a field television correspondent for the channel intermittently in different countries. He has published three novels and two books, and his novel “Danishmand” was longlisted for the 2025 Arabic Booker Prize. He is distinguished among Al Jazeera correspondents by his polished Arabic language, which is derived from an authentic Chinguetti culture.
