Buthaina Wael Al-Essa, born on September 3, 1982, is a Kuwaiti writer and novelist. She has been the director of Takween Publishing House since 2016. She earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in finance, from the College of Administrative Sciences at Kuwait University in 2011.
