Guillaume Musso (born June 6, 1974 in Antibes, France) is a French writer and novelist. He is one of the most famous contemporary French authors, and his books are currently on best-selling lists. Since his childhood, Musso devoted himself to reading books and plays, until he became truly convinced that he would one day become a novelist.
He left his country for the United States at the age of nineteen and lived in New York State for several months with some expatriates, relying on selling ice cream to earn a living. He returned to his homeland, France, with many ideas for novels in his mind.
His first novel was published in 2001 and was not a success. His successes continued until he became one of France’s most famous authors. Some of his novels have been translated into more than twenty languages, and some have been adapted into films, such as “Will You Be There?” His total book sales reached 1,405,500 copies in 2013.
