Haji Jaber is an Eritrean novelist and journalist born in 1976. He has published four novels to date, including “Samrawit,” which won the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity in 2012, and “Black Foam,” which won the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction in its fifth edition in the category of published novels in 2019. Some of his works have been translated into several languages, including English, Italian, and Hebrew.
