I am Dr. Hanaa Al-Shaloul, a graduate of Yarmouk University, Department of Arabic Language and Literature. I completed my high school diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and doctorate in nine years, pursuing continuous studies from 2004 to 2013.
In 2009, I was the youngest faculty member at the University of Applied Sciences, earning my master’s degree at the age of 22.5. My academic excellence earned me this opportunity. Following this, I worked in the human rights sector, initially as a volunteer with a Canadian organization. Later, I became a certified international peace trainer from Canada and was selected by the Hivos organization and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an expert in education and human rights. I have received numerous international awards and have represented Jordan in France, Turkey, Spain, and other countries. I was also chosen to lead a global peace initiative in three languages, as part of a Canadian team.
My academic record includes books and research papers submitted for promotion, and I have served as a reviewer for leading scientific journals in several countries. I currently work as an assistant professor at Jadara University. I was nominated for the Jones Award for Arab Women in 2020.
